SCT Chemicals
Laboratory

In production, thorough product quality control  is essential.

This is especially true in the lubricants and additive packages industry, where the efficiency and safety of machinery and equipment depend on the quality of the lubricants used.

For this purpose, a unique state of the art center has been established in UAE on the basis of its own production facilities.

The center includes a separate expert and analytical laboratory, where additive packages and lubricants are developed and tested.

The SCT Chemicals laboratory uses modern equipment to ensure the accuracy of product quality control and prevent the production and supply of non-standard products.

There are three main stages in our quality control process

Input control

At this stage, we check the quality
of raw materials and materials entering production.

Intermediate inspection

After initial processing and during production, we carry out intermediate inspections to ensure that our products meet the stated specifications and standards.

Quality control

In the final stage, we check the finished products before they are shipped to the customer. This includes testing for compliance with the necessary parameters and requirements.

Test methods
at SCT Chemicals
Our test methods are based on strict standards and regulations such as ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung).
The methods include various procedures such as viscosity measurement, lubricity testing, density and oxidation resistance testing, and corrosion resistance analysis. Thanks to these methods, we can ensure that our lubricants meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Equipment Name
Dual-Bath Kinematic Viscometer
INFORMATION
ASTM D5293 is a standard test method for the kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque liquids (and calculation of dynamic viscosity). It is used to measure the resistance of a liquid to flow under gravity. The kinematic viscosity is expressed in centistokes (cSt).
