SC 4406 is super high base synthetic calcium sulfonate detergent that protects against better high temperature deposits and controls rust under low-temperature operating conditions in gasoline and diesel
engine applications, in a range of industrial lubricants and greases.
General Application
SC 4406 is manufactured with long-chain dialkylbenzenesulfonic acid. The product has excellent oil
solubility and perfect acid neutralization properties, and it is used for neutralize organic and inorganic acid
in the engine oil, as well as provide with good high-temperature detergency and thermal stability properties.
It is a preferred additive for over-based marine cylinder oil applications.
